Before you start
Use only sender addresses handled by your mailbox and permitted by its administrator.
What to do
- Open Settings and choose Identities, then select the intended sender identity.
- Review the sender name, available address fields and signature. Use the controls allowed for that mailbox and save.
- Open a new draft and check the selected sender and signature before sending a real message.
What happens next
Newly composed messages use the accepted sender identity and signature according to your compose settings.
If something goes wrong
An identity setting does not create a mailbox, alias or permission to send as another person. Some identity fields may be locked by the administrator. Use Account to edit your shared ecosystem profile instead.
